SOS

SOS is the conventional Morse code call made by a ship in distress. For the sake of this article, I would love to change the meaning of the abbreviation to “Season Of Surprises”.

It has indeed been a season of pleasant surprises for me. I joined the Hallelujah Challenge on the 12th day, praising and trusting God for a great breakthrough like every other person who linked up for the sessions. It was beautiful worshiping with over 70 thousand souls all over the world online. Little did I know that God had set up my miracle in advance.

Last Sunday, after church a brother offered to drive me home, we had a great time bumping to most of my songs in the car celebrating our miracles ahead of time with the understanding that anything we celebrate multiplies. He dropped me home and said goodbye. I got home and listened to the message in church again twice. The word of prophecy was so strong and I kept saying “Amen” to every prayer. About 40 mins later, this same brother who dropped me called me that he had something for me. He told me to please stay indoors that he would soon be at my doorstep. I smiled and didn’t think too much about it. My sister immediately said that he was going to sow his car into my life. I laughed it off.

So this guy arrives outside and behold he starts me telling that God told him to sow his car into my life, that he had struggled with the thought for some time but he just had to finally do it. I was shocked and confused at the same time. He kept talking but I couldn’t hear anything he was saying. It was too good to be true but then again that’s how God surprises. When he does it, it will look too good to be true. That’s how God gave me a car. After this people called to congratulate me and some have been sowing into my life. Suddenly, things are turning around for my good. My story is reminiscent of my pastor’s favorite scripture, “The path of the just is like a shining light that keeps shining brighter and brighter even unto the perfect day” — Prov. 4:18. I can proudly say that it is indeed my season of surprises, I’m just looking at God like “What’s next?”
